Two and a half men talk

Everyone around me know my dislike of "Two and a Half Men" -- and Jon Cryer's Emmy win on Sunday didn't help any -- but even I was surprised to hear that one of the show's stars is thinking about quitting the show.

During an interview with Extra, Charlie Sheen said, "I have five kids, and I have an amazing wife. There is life outside showbusiness. It's been a great run. This is my last contract year." Now, this may be Charlie's attempt to get a raise, but when you break it down, he's probably just being honest.

Not only is Charlie Sheen currently the highest paid actor on television pulling in $825,000 per episode (think about that), but the series has recently gone into syndication, which means he's making even more money every single day. And with over 142 episodes already filmed, he pretty much never has to work again.

However, "Two and a Half Men" is not only TV's most popular comedy but CBS recently renewed it for three more seasons, and I don't think they're interested in losing 33.3 percent of the testosterone from their title with so many seasons still to come.

But it probably means people will watch the show without Charlie
